Between God and my dirt and pain. Made no sense. Cause dirt was where I came from. And pain was where I lived. Why would God curse me with something like this? Is it my sin? Is my fault? Is because that He doesn’t love me? Did I do something wrong? Maybe he holds a grudge? For so long, I felt so beaten because my faith in His grace. Was only dependant on if I could see Jesus’ face. And I know you have felt forsaken. And maybe felt like He’s not there. But the night is not a hell for the broken. He’s still there though your unaware. Night cause of job loss. Night cause of the hurt heart. Night cause you just so lost. Don’t know where you can start. Don’t see what see his plan is cause you lost family. You lost friends. 99 and that 1 lost. You’re the one that He’s seeking. I know what it’s like when the sun drops. When its cold cause you were hot. I know what it’s like when you look around, and there’s no one that you can spot. I know what it’s like when tears come and cuss out of your heart’s cry. Go ahead and just cry out. Let echo and take flight. And this is my true salvation. I know that breaking isn’t bad. If it will help me seek Him, I will stay here till the night has past. If it will keep me humble, I trust in what I cannot grasp. My God doesn’t sleep or slumber. I trust that this darkness will not last.

Then about just a ways down the street they heard a healer was coming. They said this prophet guy was able to have a miracle summoned. “Have mercy on us, Jesus.” They begged with pain in voice. He said,” Stand up. Get up on feet. Go show yourselves to the church.” And they could stand. And they could walk. And they were healed on their way. But only one came back to Jesus. Started giving him praise. And I –I was a leper thought I was destined for death. But all I needed was the word that came with Jesus’ breath. I thought my destiny was dark. But now the Light is in me. Praise to the one who brings dawn causes the darkness to flee. V2 If you would have seen her on the street. You would cussed and then spit. She was the type of girl with bruises from being punched and then kicked. You would have seen her in the night with men who banged for money. She was forced call them sugar when they just wanted her honey. But now she’s thrown into the dirt. They call her skank and a whore. She cries out begging for a Savior. But all her cries were ignored. Pick up rocks to stone her till she can’t get up from the floor. She waits for judgment. Then she sees a man she’s heard of before. He was a champion for the weak and healed the lame and the blind. And now he tells her judge and jury he won’t leave her to die. And if they’ve never sinned a bit then they can stay in a line. The stones were dropped. And Jesus picks her up with love in his eyes. And I- I was that whore. Thought I was destined for death But all I needed was the word that came with Jesus’ breath. I thought my destiny was dark. But now the Light is in me. Praise to the one who brings the dark causes the darkness to flee.
